Mentoring a Young Apprentice

Become a Mentor for a Young Apprentice!

We are building our team of volunteers who can listen to and help guide a young person through life. This voluntary role involves meeting with a young apprentice once a month to talk through any struggles or issues they may have, to listen, encourage and offer advice.

Could you give an hour or two a month?

Adolescence is a tough time for many young people and just having a listening, non-judgmental adult who can act as a positive role-model and guide makes a world of difference.

In April 2021, we need your help! We currently need 2 mentors who would be willing to attend a training session and befriend an apprentice for the duration of their 12-month course.

We’re looking for good listeners, willing to give an hour a month, and able to start as soon as possible.

All applicants will be required to follow our safer recruitment protocol, including providing references, ID, and completing a DBS check.

Full training, resources and support are provided.
