Dave Markley - Treasurer

One of our original trustees, Dave works in accounts and finance locally. He was previously finance director at CWR, a large Christian charity. Worshipping at New Life Church in Guildford, Dave has a passion to see young people realise their potential. He is also a Kiwi and so we don't talk to him about rugby!

Inglis Wightman - Chair of Trustees

Living locally with wife Gill and their family, Inglis is the Director of Children & Youth Programmes at Guildford YMCA. Inglis' background is as a careers expert and he has an infectious enthusiasm for local community involvement. He worships as part of Guildford Community Church.

Jani Rubery

Jani lives locally with husband Clive but is originally from the USA. She travels extensively speaking at conferences, such as Roots and Spring Harvest. Jani is in great demand as a management trainer and specialises as an 'executive coach'. She worships at Guildford Salvation Army.

Sue Medley

Sue joined us in 2007 to provide the Trust with a working knowledge of schools and education at a local level. She is Assitant Head Teacher at George Abbot School, and married to Lionel. They have one son, and they worship as part of Guildford Community Church.

Ian Cook

Ian is a long standing Guildfordian, having been at school with Matrix Director Ian Nicholson many years ago! He has practised law in Surrey throughout his career and is a partner in the Guildford office of national law firm Laytons. He and his wife have been members at Emmanuel Stoughton for 30 years, along with their 2 sons.

Chris Bruce

Chris is retired after working in local government for 38 years across Surrey and London in parks and countryside management. He managed Guildford Borough parks and countryside areas for 12 years and has been involved in community projects like Ready 4 Action since its inception. Chris is married with one daughter and lives in Horsley. He worships at Bookham Baptist Church.
