Student Team Guildford

Empowering & Discipling Student Missionaries

Guildford has over 30,000 students in further education at the Universirty of Surrey, Guildford School of Acting, Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford College and the College of Law

The student team is an Associate Matrix project and is dedicated to working with student groups on different campuses - mentoring, supporting and networking. It promotes and encourages student groups to be linked to local churches, which ensure good pastoral support for the students.

The student team also facilitates prayer weeks, Alpha courses, training opportunities and leadership training. Many students also get involved in overseas activities through 24-7 mission teams.

The student team since 2005 has been coordinated by Georgina Micklewright. Key partners include local churches, Fusion, University and Colleges Christian Fellowship, Friends International and the University chaplains.
