The Guildford Boiler Room was launched in October 2007 as a community of local Christians committed to being true to Christ, kind to all people and taking the gospel to the nations.
The Boiler Room has emerged from 24-7 Prayer rooms over many years and sent over 50 mission teams to 15 different nations from Guildford.Guildford Boiler Room has a committed core community of about 50 people which is growing and looking to start smaller mission ‘collectives’ in some of the needier parts of the area. The Boiler Room also resources the House of Prayer which started in January 2008 and looks to fill 25% of each year with continuous 24-7 prayer. Several hundred local Christians and many different churches are involved in the House of Prayer.
The Boiler Room is also a 24-7 hub with a particular focus on Europe which means it trains and sends teams to start Boiler Rooms elsewhere, through the Transit and Springboard training courses.
