Associates

Matrix Associates are people who are closely connected to Matrix relationally and in values and benefit from practical support we can offer.

Many community projects are started by individuals or small groups and struggle to meet overheads or can get isolated and discouraged. In Matrix we have extensive resources in office space and administrative and accountancy support. We also have a network of people who have considerable leadership experience. We therefore offer Associates help to keep going and develop vision. Associates are not employed by Matrix but are part of the wider team.

Colin Brice is the founder, leader and creative inspiration of Eden People. He lives in Guildford, is married with two children and is a member of Guildford Community Church. Colin has spoken at various events, developed training & consultancy for ‘Creative Mission’ and enjoys nothing more than sharing ‘story’ and ‘journey’ with spiritually seeking people.

He is a holistic massage therapist and utilises his spiritual gifts in and through his massage treatments – a brochure regarding this is HERE for you to look at. Colin is a poet at heart and an expert tea drinker - so much so that he is a member of The Tea Appreciation Society – “Make Tea NOT War”

He loves to walk, discover country pubs and find a comfy chair to read a paper and have a pint or two! He is a devoted Chelsea fan and has been for over 35 years - way before millionaires and billionaires were on the scene.

Outside Light's aim is to meet as many young people as possible and be their friends showing them, if the opportunity arises, that there is a God and that he loves them regardless. We tell them, we don't ram it down their throats. They know what we're about, and they come to us when we have our drop-ins during the winter, as well as us going to them when the evenings are lighter.

We are active people that do and don't just say. We really love and value the young people we're serving, even when they wind us up - which is quite frequently.
